Businesses with a stake in development of the North Avenue corridor are getting an assist from Ald. Hines. Each month, the alderman invites members of the North Avenue Business Improvement District and other stakeholders to a "speakers series," to hear from the heads of City of Milwaukee departments.
Ald. Hines and the North Avenue Community Development Corp. created the series to alert businesses and others about what various city departments are doing to improve the North Ave. corridor from N. 20th St. to N. 35th St. The meetings are held in Wendorff Bros. Co. Inc. facility, the former Capitol Stampings Corp. at 2700 W. North Ave.
