 Mayor Barrett Statement on the Shops of Grand Avenue

          "Northwestern Mutual has been instrumental in the development and recent turn-around of the Shops of Grand Avenue. Because of the company's investment, the Shops of Grand Avenue is a viable, self sustaining, attractive property," stated Mayor Tom Barrett.  "The downtown has experienced tremendous growth. We have over 3,500 condominiums and apartments.  The mall is 85% leased.  All the pieces are in place for a new owner to invest in the success of Milwaukee's downtown."
