I was very excited to read about your interest in having Chicago host the 2016 Summer Olympics. I agree whole heartedly with your comments regarding the regional benefits the Summer Olympics would produce.

I want you to know that Milwaukee civic and business leaders would welcome the opportunity to be active members of your exploratory committee. This is a golden opportunity for the Milwaukee and Chicago regions to pull together and lay the groundwork for a very promising future.

I applaud you for continuing to think big and for proposing a regional approach in pursuing the 2016 summer Olympics. I look forward to hearing from you.
