Mayor Barrett Names Head of Intergovernmental Relations

          Milwaukee—Mayor Tom Barrett today announced he has selected Sharon Cook to run the City's Division of Intergovernmental Relations.   Cook leaves her position as government relations advisor at Cook & Franke and her post as Executive Director of Competitive Wisconsin to join Mayor Barrett's Cabinet.  "Sharon Cook brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our team," stated Mayor Barrett.  "I am confident Sharon will be a strong voice for Milwaukee."
          After the judiciary and legislative committee and full common council approve her appointment, Cook will assume her new position in early February.
