Incident Level Data Now Available on the City Web Site

Milwaukee—Mayor Tom Barrett has announced a unique initiative to provide incident-level crime data to the public via a mapping application on the City web site.  The Mayor demonstrated to reporters how easy it is to use the new crime data tool.   "Everyday, neighborhoods here and across our country confront crime and the threat of crime and we benefit a great deal from organized groups of neighborhood residents who watch out for crime and suspicious activity," said Barrett.  "This new tool provides additional ears and eyes to watch out for crime and it will help promote neighborhood security."
