Mayor Barrett Statement on New MMSD Commission Chairman

"I congratulate Mayor Timothy Seider on his new position as chairman of the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District commission," stated Mayor Barrett.  Seider was unanimously elected chairman of the commission today.  "I look forward to working with Mayor Seider as we move forward as a region in making water quality improvements and restoring public confidence in the District."  Seider served as MMSD'S commission vice chair for four years and is currently Mayor of the City of Greenfield.   As chair, Seider will lead the commission in establishing and enforcing District policies.
