How to apply for the Police Officer position:

  1. Applications for Police Officer are currently being accepted. This is a continuous recruitment, and the written test was given twice in 2007 -- in April and November. Dates have not yet been scheduled for the written test administration in 2008.
  2. Complete the required Job Application in one of the following formats:

The Personal History Questionnaire (PHQ) is the first step in the Background Investigation process for candidates for City of Milwaukee Police Department positions, who have successfully passed certain phases of the examination process. If you have been notified about a Background Investigation Information Session, you should familiarize yourself with this document before attending that session. You may want to print this document and bring it with you when you attend the information session. DO NOT complete any information on this document prior to attending the Background Investigation Information Session as the document below may be updated prior to the Background Investigation Information Session.
