New Legislative Information Site

The City Clerk’s Office introduces its new Legislative Research Center, one stop for information on Common Council files, agendas and minutes of Council and committee meetings, and the functions and membership of city boards, commissions and committees.  Included are links to video clips of the discussion on specific legislative items.


Milwaukee Residents May Qualify for Federal Assistance

Under FEMA Disaster Declaration

Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett is assisting Milwaukee residents eligible to apply for federal funds being made available to those affected by the recent flooding in Milwaukee County. Individuals may qualify for financial assistance under the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Individual and Households Program. Local businesses with storm damage may qualify for assistance from the Small Business Administration disaster program.  Register by calling 1-800-621-FEMA or online at www.fema.gov

IMPORTANT NOTE: FEMA has extended the registration deadline for those affected by the June floods from Aug. 13 to Sept. 15.

Help for Homeowners Facing Foreclosure

The City of Milwaukee is committed to helping our neighborhoods remain healthy for generations to come. We are coordinating with various organizations, government agencies and private lenders and reaching out to homeowners facing foreclosure.


Flea Market and Pet Fair

Shop for good condition household goods and other treasures for your pet. Also, there will be low-cost microchips (registration included), rabies vaccines, nail trims and more.  All sales benefit Milwaukee Area’s neediest animals!
