Spend Your Summer Working as an Intern with the Summer Youth Internship Program (SYIP)

The SYIP provides youth with employment and life skills to meet educational and job readiness goals. High school juniors and seniors between the ages of 16 and 19 who live in the designated Community Development Block Grant area are eligible to apply for this opportunity to work for the city and gain valuable experience. The 2010 8-week program runs from June 21 to August 13. Participants must be able to work the entire time period. Click here for more information about the SYIP.
