Dear 10th District Resident, There will be a hearing before Judge Elsa C. Lamelas on January 21 at 11:00 a.m. in Room 412 of the Milwaukee County Courthouse about an existing raze order against a gas station at 5100 West Burleigh Street. There is a long legal history regarding this property and I am hopeful that this will be the last hearing before this property is razed. Assistant City Attorney Jay Unora will try the case on behalf of the City of Milwaukee. There may be an opportunity for injured members of the public to provide testimony about their experiences with the property. I hope that you will take the opportunity to attend this meeting.
