CITY EMPLOYEES:
Aside from the in-house training Instructing Techologies provides for the City of Milwaukee, they also offer wide variety of in public classes including Microsoft Office 2003 and 2007, Adobe, Web Languages, etc., at their Waukesha location (20633 Watertown Court (2nd floor); click here for a map. Most classes are held from 9:00 am - 4:30 pm.
DO NOT register directly through Instructing Technologies or you will have to pay upfront for the cost, using a credit card. Your Training Information Coordinator will contact Judy Kammermann of Employee Relations and she will register you. Within 2 business days, you will receive a confirmation via Email from Judy Kammermann. Please do not attend a class unless you were officially confirmed by Judy.
Below is a partial list of courses they offer in Waukesha. For a full listing of upcoming courses, click here. IF YOU WISH TO ATTEND, you must enroll through your department's Training Information Coordinator the same as you would for an in-house training class. Please note that if you attend a class using the Tuition Benefit on "City Time" the class must be directly related to your present position. Otherwise, you must attend on vacation or comp time. IMPORTANT TUITION BENEFIT INFORMATION!!!
In order to use the Tuition Benefit for courses, seminars, or conferences during work hours, the course must be directly related and critical to your present position. It it's not directly job-related, or if it's for a promotional opportunity, you must attend on your own time (i.e., vacation, comp. etc.).
OFFICE 2003:
