Funeral Leave

FUNERAL LEAVE

Funeral leave may be used because of death in the immediate family. Immediate family is defined as the husband, wife, child, brother, sister, parent, mother-in-law, father-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, or grandchild of the employee. Normally two or three off-days are permitted depending on the location of the funeral.  For further information, please contact your department's payroll personnel.
