On your visit to Wehr, make time to explore the Visitor Center. Natural history displays, a small collection of live reptiles and a screech owl await you. You'll also discover the Gardner Room, a multi-purpose room used for programs and available for rent, and the Nature Store, a gift shop full of nature-related books, gifts and toys. For your convenience, trail maps, newsletters and a variety of brochures are available at the reception desk.

Just outside the native stone and wood Visitor Center, you'll come upon labelled gardens featuring prairie, woodland, and ethnobotany plants. Stroll through this area to acquaint yourself with the local, native flora.
