Teens Caught After Stealing TV

Dec 15 - A 16-year-old boy from Greenfield and a 15-year-old boy from Milwaukee were taken into custody shortly after stealing a 42’ television from a home on Milwaukee’s South Side. The teens kicked in the door to the home in the area of 20^th and Bolivar on the afternoon of December 14 and took the television while the resident was away. The Milwaukee Police Department received a call from an alert citizen who saw the teens wheeling the television down the street on a city garbage cart. The teens took the television into an apartment building a few blocks away, where officers found the television in the basement. The teens were taken into custody and will be referred to the Milwaukee County Children’s Center for charges.
