Paul M. Cesarz was elected 23rd District Supervisor in a special election in June 2002 and, in the newly redrawn 9th District, was re-elected in 2004 and 2008.

Supervisor Cesarz is a graduate of Greendale High School and the University of Wisconsin School of Pharmacy in Madison. His work experience prior to serving on the County Board includes: pharmacist at Snyder Drugs of Milwaukee; president of Paul M. Cesarz, Pharmacist, S.C. (Franklin, Greenfield, Wauwatosa); president of Preefil Corporation (Milwaukee and Franklin); business leader of BD Becton Dickinson (Franklin).

Supervisor Cesarz has served as president and chairman of the board for the Wisconsin Pharmacists Association (now the Pharmacy Society of Wisconsin), as president of the Pharmacists Society of Milwaukee County, as a Preceptor and member of the Board of Visitors at the University of Wisconsin School of Pharmacy, and as a member of the UW School of Pharmacy Action Network. Additionally, Supervisor Cesarz was a member of the St. Mary's Parish (Hales Corners) building committee and a volunteer girls volleyball coach for St. Mary's Grade School in Hales Corners.

Supervisor Cesarz is a member of St. Mary's Parish Council in Hales Corners and the Village of Hales Corners' Ethics Committee, Pharmacy Society of Wisconsin, American Pharmaceutical Association, Milwaukee County Historical Society, Wisconsin State Historical Society and Campanile Society – Catholic Stewardship Appeal of the Milwaukee Archdiocese.

Supervisor Cesarz currently serves as Chairman of the Personnel Committee and is a member of the Judiciary, Safety and General Services Committee, the Intergovernmental Relations Committee and the Human Resource Systems Management Committee.
