Protect All Kids Coalition (PAK)
The Protect All Kids Coalition is a statewide partnership of various community groups dedicated to ensuring that all children are properly immunized and protected from suffering from vaccine preventable diseases.
The Coalition was founded in 1998.
PAK's goal is to meet the Healthy People and Healthiest Wisconsin 2010 immunization goals—to have 90 percent of all children complete with their recommended series of immunization by 24 months of age.
PAK's activities revolve around education and collaboration between parents/caregivers, healthcare providers (e.g. public health), pharmaceutical companies (e.g. vaccine manufacturers), politicians, and community based organizations (e.g. non-profits).
Recent accomplishments include annual Immunization Symposiums for healthcare providers and Senator Darling and Taylor's childhood immunization awareness public service announcement (November 2006).
If you are interested in joining PAK, please contact the Immunization Program at 414-286-8034.
