The Permit Process

SPECIAL NOTE: The Building Inspection Plan Exam section was reorganized January 4, 1999 and is now under the Department of City Development's Development Center. Permits are issued by the Development Center of the Department of City Development on the first floor of 809 N. Broadway. This location is convenient to many public parking garages, and City bus lines. Before you come downtown, you might want to see if your project requires a permit or perhaps does not require a permit.
