New Legislation

The following legislation was enacted by the Milwaukee Common Council, subject to final approval by the Mayor, at its most recent meeting of  July 1, 2008:

File 080193  increases taxicab fares in addition to increasing the waiting- time charge from $25 per hour to $40 per hour until January 1, 2009.

File 080194   holds specified property owners financially responsible for chronic nuisance activities on their premises.

File 080042  stops the monthly travel allowance for Council members who have unexcused absences from all the Council and committee meetings for a particular month.

File   051036   creates the Bay View/South Shore Drive Neighborhood Conservation Overlay Zone.

File 080312   enables the City of Mlwaukee to become a member of the Southeastern Wisconsin Watershed Trust.
