Feb. 3 - The Milwaukee Police Department has three men in custody for robbing women who placed ads on Craigslist. Detectives arrested the suspects on January 29 after the suspects responded to a Craigslist ad posted by the detectives. Property belonging to the victims was recovered in the suspects’ homes.
MPD is recommending that caution be used when conducting transactions on the Internet, including Craigslist. Always meet in public spaces and take someone with you when meeting with people you met on Craigslist.
