Former UBS Managing Director Wallace Henderson Named CFO of Leading Renewable Energy Company Innovation Fuels 

 

 

 

New York, September 16, 2009 -- Innovation Fuels, the New York-based renewable energy company that manufactures, markets, and distributes second-generation biodiesel to customers around the world has announced the appointment of veteran energy banker Wallace C. Henderson to the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.    

 

With over two decades of energy investment banking and project finance experience, Mr. Henderson joins Innovation Fuels after five years at UBS Investment Bank in New York City where he was Managing Director/Senior Advisor in the Global Energy Group.  Prior to UBS, Mr. Henderson spent eighteen years at Credit Suisse First Boston in a variety of roles focused on the oil and gas industry including as Managing Director responsible for energy investment banking throughout Latin America and Managing Director responsible for the firm’s activities with global integrated oil and refining companies.  Companies advised by Mr. Henderson during his long career include ExxonMobil, ConocoPhillips, Marathon Oil, Citgo Petroleum, Koch Industries, El Paso, RepsolYPF, Petrobras, Pemex, Petroleos de Venezuela and Oman Oil.

Married with two children, Mr. Henderson graduated Columbia Business School with an MBA in Finance in 1991.  He received a BA in Economics from Kenyon College in 1985.
