MPD and Faith Based Community

District Three continues to host meetings with our Faith Based Community. The purpose of these meetings is to discuss and promote the benefits of the partnership between Law Enforcement, the Faith Based Community and district residents.
The focus remains to address the crime and social/economic issues facing the communities in which we live and work. Momentum is building and meetings still exceeded all expectations.

Burglar Alarm Web Page

Be aware that out of state alarm companies canvass Milwaukee neighborhoods door-to-door in an attempt to sell burglar alarm systems.  Many citizens have already signed contracts (up to 5 year contracts) with alarm companies expecting that MPD will respond to their burglar alarms. It is important that citizens familiarize themselves with Milwaukee's Burglar Alarm policy to avoid being misinformed by alarm sales representatives.

The recent increase of non-verified residential burglar alarms that are called in by alarm monitoring companies is an indication that these companies have already started "signing up" new customers.

To view a copy of the new MPD burglar alarm web page, click this link: New Burglar Alarm Web Page. It may also be accessed by visiting www.milwaukee.gov/police.

Law Enforcement Explorers

Are you (or someone you know) age 14 to 19 and interested in a career in Law Enforcement? If so, then becoming a Law Enforcement Explorer may be the thing to do!!

Law Enforcement Explorers are a branch of the Boy Scouts of America, and as such, are coordinated in part as a coeducational unit. Law Enforcement Explorers are “EXPLORING” a career in law enforcement. This program is community based and it reaches out to youth in all parts of the city.
